The club House and Facilities

Border Aviation Club & Flight School prides itself on its heritage and has been providing personalised training to pilots since the 1940’s. The club has excellent facilities and highly qualified staff, with an ethos of being a family orientated club.

The Border Aviation Club boasts great recreational facilities which include the ‘John Henry’ Bar, undercover Braai area and pilots lounge with big screen viewing facility. Much fun is had, at the “Thursday Night Braai”, where many a story is told.

The club’s training environment includes briefing rooms, an online examination venue, simulator room and a fleet of highly maintained aircraft, providing various types of aircraft for all phases of training. East London Airport provides a safe training location as the skies are uncluttered yet providing all the facilities and services for advanced flight training.
